-Information about transportation funding, transportation sub-contracts/providers, taxi services, and liability issues for Bladen, Columbus, Robeson and Scotland was presented. Tammy Segura is keeping copies of information/brochures received. Kent Porter, BART, and Priscilla Dorsey, COG have been invited to September’s meeting to present information about their transportation programs.
Ann Haney, Bladen We Care, provided detailed information about how the organization was founded, funded and the services they provide.

-Bobbie Ellis, Lumberton and Jannie Scott, Scotland County, were in attendance, increasing membership to eight and Kathy Baker, SRMHC’s Columbus Center, has been added as liaison in place of Jennifer Alkurdasi.
Tomye Glenn is still in process of identifying someone to represent senior citizen interests. Tammy Segura has contacted an individual who is currently providing transportation on an individual basis to encourage him to become a member of this committee.

-Did not address at this meeting.

-Sharen Prevatte discussed the planned “Stakeholders Committee Liaisons’ Guidelines”. Once finalized, copies will be given out at Quarterly Stakeholders’ Meeting.

- Committee members were asked to review the following topics to discuss at September meeting: transportation, reducing stigma, collaboration throughout communities/counties and with agencies/services, prevention services, and mental health reform.
